Full-time equivalent salary: £30,024–£39,152 per annum
Actual salary: £17,196–£23,347 per annum

Purley Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled, organised and proactive School Business Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the strategic and day-to-day management of our school. We are looking for someone with strong business and financial expertise who will help ensure the smooth and effective running of the school.

The successful candidate will:

• have experience in business, finance and resource management

• have experience of preparing and monitoring budgets

• have experience in personnel matters

• have a good understanding of health and safety and premises management

• be able to prioritise, manage a complex workload and work independently

• have excellent IT skills

• be methodical, well organised, trustworthy and flexible

• work effectively as part of a team

Experience of working in an education setting is preferred, particularly experience relating to school business, finance, personnel or premises management. However, we also welcome applications from candidates with strong and relevant experience in the wider business sector.

This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity and we would welcome applications from candidates interested in either a fixed-term or permanent position.

HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT (HLTA)

31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

8.30am- 3.45pm daily with one hour unpaid lunch break

Full-time equivalent salary: £29,071–£33,119 per annum
Actual salary: £20,812–£24,247 per annum

• An adaptable and confident practitioner who can teach and support learning across the primary age range, from EYFS to Year 6, and who holds the required HLTA qualification.

• Strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for learning, particularly in developing strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics and helping children become confident, independent and resilient learners.
