Making Music at Purley CE Primary School

Our popular Good Vibes Ukulele Groups provide a fun, friendly and supportive environment where children can learn to play the ukulele, perform with others and build confidence through music. We also offer guitar lessons with Berkshire Music Trust, delivered by experienced music tutors who inspire pupils to develop their technique and enjoyment of playing. Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to build on existing skills, these lessons cater for a range of abilities.

Learning a musical instrument offers many benefits beyond the classroom. It helps to develop concentration, perseverance, creativity and teamwork, while also boosting confidence and providing children with a rewarding way to express themselves. Taking part in music lessons can also enhance pupils' overall learning and contribute positively to their wellbeing.

As we look ahead to the new term, these lessons provide a wonderful opportunity for pupils to enrich their education through music and become part of our thriving musical community.
